Étienne Jouvin, also known as Tk-Glitch, known for his GitHub projects wine-tkg, wine-proton-tkg, and Tk-Glitch PKGBUILDs (the latter intended for ArchLinux-based distributions), after about ten years of support, began to complain about his health. Because of this, he has been less involved in overseeing the 'porting' of patches and accepting pull requests.
Étienne states that he does not intend to abandon the repository. However, it has also been revealed that he appointed another manager for the Wine-TkG repository—Kirill Artemiev, also known as Artewar67.
So far, Kirill has faced an unexpected task—on GitLab, the structure of the directories for Wine has been broken, causing libraries (i386 and x86_64) to be installed all together in a single common directory, without separation by architecture. Kirill is managing this 'porting' well.
We hope that further support for the other TkG and Wine repositories will continue well and not be abandoned.
