Pokušaj kreiranja ASH analoga za PostgreSQL

Izjava o problemu

Da bi se optimizovali PostgreSQL upiti, veoma je potrebna mogućnost analize istorije aktivnosti, posebno čekanja, zaključavanja i statistike tabele.

Dostupne mogućnosti

Alat za analizu povijesnog opterećenja ili "AWR za Postgres": vrlo zanimljivo rješenje, ali nema historije pg_stat_activity i pg_locks.

pgsentinel ekstenzija :
«Sve akumulirane informacije pohranjuju se samo u RAM memoriji, a količina utrošene memorije regulirana je brojem zadnjih pohranjenih zapisa.

Dodato je polje queryid - isti queryid iz ekstenzije pg_stat_statements (potrebna je prethodna instalacija).«

Ovo bi, naravno, mnogo pomoglo, ali ono što najviše smeta je prva tačka.”Sve akumulirane informacije se pohranjuju samo u RAM “, tj. postoji uticaj na ciljnu bazu. Osim toga, nema historije zaključavanja i statistike tablice. One. rješenje je generalno govoreći nepotpuno: “Još nema gotovog paketa za instalaciju. Predlaže se da preuzmete izvore i sami sastavite biblioteku. Prvo morate instalirati “devel” paket za vaš server i postaviti putanju do pg_config u varijabli PATH.".

Općenito, ima puno gužve, a u slučaju ozbiljnih produkcijskih baza podataka, možda neće biti moguće ništa učiniti sa serverom. Moramo ponovo smisliti nešto svoje.

Zbog prilično velikog obima i zbog nepotpunog perioda testiranja, članak je uglavnom informativne prirode, prije kao skup teza i međurezultata.

Nacrt zahtjeva za rješenje

Potrebno je razviti alat koji vam omogućava da pohranite:

pg_stat_activity pregled historije
Historija zaključavanja sesije koristeći pg_locks pogled

Zahtjev za rješenje– minimizirati uticaj na ciljnu bazu podataka.

Opća ideja– agent za prikupljanje podataka se ne pokreće u ciljnoj bazi podataka, već u bazi podataka za praćenje kao sistemski servis. Da, moguć je gubitak podataka, ali to nije kritično za izvještavanje, ali nema utjecaja na ciljnu bazu podataka u smislu memorije i prostora na disku. A u slučaju korištenja spremišta veza, utjecaj na korisničke procese je minimalan.

Faze implementacije

1.Servisne tablice

Za pohranjivanje tabela koristi se posebna shema kako se ne bi komplicirala analiza glavnih korištenih tabela.

Budući da u ovom slučaju nema zahtjeva za brzinu umetanja, kreirani su neki indeksi kako bi se ubrzalo kreiranje izvještaja.

Historija blokiranja sesije

Tabela se koristi za pohranjivanje trenutnih snimaka zaključavanja sesije:

Budući da u ovom slučaju nema zahtjeva za brzinu umetanja, kreirani su neki indeksi kako bi se ubrzalo kreiranje izvještaja.

2.Popunjavanje trenutne istorije

Za direktno prikupljanje snimaka prikaza, koristi se bash skripta koja pokreće plpgsql funkciju.

plpgsql Funkcija dblink pristupa pogledima u ciljnoj bazi podataka i umeće redove u servisne tablice u bazi podataka za praćenje.

Tako se istorija pregleda prikuplja u obliku snimaka sekundu po sekundu. Naravno, ako se sve ostavi kako je, stolovi će se vrlo brzo povećati i manje-više produktivan rad će postati nemoguć.

Potrebno je organizovati arhiviranje podataka.

3. Arhiviranje istorije

Za arhiviranje se koriste particionirane tablice archive*.

Nove particije se kreiraju svakih sat vremena, dok se stari podaci uklanjaju iz historijskih* tabela, tako da se veličina historijskih* tablica ne mijenja mnogo i brzina umetanja se ne smanjuje tokom vremena.

Kreiranje novih sekcija vrši plpgsql funkcija activity_hist.archive_current_activity. Algoritam rada je vrlo jednostavan (koristeći primjer odjeljka za tablicu archive_pg_stat_activity).

Naravno, s vremena na vrijeme, stari dijelovi se brišu kao nepotrebni.

Osnovni izvještaji

Zapravo, zašto se sve ovo radi? Dobiti izvještaje koji vrlo nejasno podsjećaju na Oracleov AWR.

Važno je dodati da za primanje izvještaja morate izgraditi vezu između pg_stat_activity i pg_stat_statements pogleda. Tabele su povezane dodavanjem stupca 'queryid' u tablice 'history_pg_stat_activity', 'archive_pg_stat_activity'. Metoda dodavanja vrijednosti stupca je izvan okvira ovog članka i opisana je ovdje − pg_stat_statements + pg_stat_activity + loq_query = pg_ash? .
