Projekt je zam\u011b\u0159en na pou\u017eit\u00ed v Linuxu a FreeBSD.<\/p>\n<p>Kompatibilita s i3 je zaji\u0161t\u011bna na \u00farovni p\u0159\u00edkaz\u016f, konfigura\u010dn\u00edch soubor\u016f a IPC, co\u017e umo\u017e\u0148uje pou\u017e\u00edvat Sway jako pr\u016fhlednou n\u00e1hradu i3, kter\u00e1 vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 Wayland m\u00edsto X11. Sway umo\u017e\u0148uje umis\u0165ovat okna na obrazovce nikoli prostorov\u011b, ale logicky.
