V nov\u00e9 verzi do\u0161lo k rozs\u00e1hl\u00e9mu \u00faklidu k\u00f3du \u2014 ve\u0161ker\u00fd k\u00f3d napsan\u00fd v jazyce C byl p\u0159epracov\u00e1n a projekt nyn\u00ed zahrnuje pouze zdrojov\u00e9 texty v jazyce Guile.<\/p>\n<p>Mcron je na 100 % kompatibiln\u00ed s Vixie cron a m\u016f\u017ee slou\u017eit jako jeho transparentn\u00ed n\u00e1hrada. Krom\u011b form\u00e1tu konfigurace Vixie cron Mcron tak\u00e9 nab\u00edz\u00ed mo\u017enost definice skript\u016f pro periodick\u00e9 spou\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed \u00faloh napsan\u00fdch v jazyce Scheme. Implementace Mcron zahrnuje t\u0159ikr\u00e1t m\u00e9n\u011b \u0159\u00e1dk\u016f k\u00f3du ne\u017e Vixie cron.
