Mo\u017enost sestaven\u00ed souborov\u00e9ho serveru s Python 2 zat\u00edm zachov\u00e1na (p\u0159ed spu\u0161t\u011bn\u00edm .\\\/configure&#8217; a &#8216;make&#8217; je t\u0159eba nastavit prom\u011bnnou prost\u0159ed\u00ed &#8216;PYTHON=python2&#8217;), ale v dal\u0161\u00ed v\u011btvi bude odstran\u011bna a pro sestaven\u00ed bude nutn\u00e9 m\u00edt Python 3.6.\n<li class=\"l\"> Funkcionalita &#171;wide links = yes&#187;, kter\u00e1 umo\u017e\u0148uje administr\u00e1tor\u016fm souborov\u00e9ho serveru vytv\u00e1\u0159et symbolick\u00e9 odkazy do oblasti mimo aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed SMB\\\/CIFS odd\u00edl, byla p\u0159esunuta ze smbd do samostatn\u00e9ho modulu &#171;vfs_widelinks&#187;. Tento modul se nyn\u00ed automaticky na\u010d\u00edt\u00e1, pokud je v nastaven\u00ed parametr &#171;wide links = yes&#187;. V budoucnu se pl\u00e1nuje odstran\u011bn\u00ed podpory &#171;wide links = yes&#187; z d\u016fvodu bezpe\u010dnostn\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f a u\u017eivatel\u016fm samby se d\u016frazn\u011b doporu\u010duje m\u00edsto &#171;wide links = yes&#187; p\u0159ej\u00edt na pou\u017eit\u00ed mont\u00e1\u017ee extern\u00edch \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed FS pomoc\u00ed &#171;mount &#8212;bind&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\"> Byla vyhl\u00e1\u0161ena zastaralost podpory klasick\u00e9ho re\u017eimu \u0159adi\u010de dom\u00e9ny. U\u017eivatel\u00e9 NT4-podobn\u00fdch \u0159adi\u010d\u016f dom\u00e9n (&#8216;classic&#8217;) by m\u011bli p\u0159ej\u00edt na pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed \u0159adi\u010d\u016f dom\u00e9ny Samba Active Directory pro mo\u017enost pr\u00e1ce se sou\u010dasn\u00fdmi Windows klienty.\n<li class=\"l\"> Byly prohl\u00e1\u0161eny za zastaral\u00e9 nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9 metody autentizace, kter\u00e9 je mo\u017en\u00e9 pou\u017e\u00edt pouze s protokolem SMBv1: &#171;domain logons&#187;, &#171;raw NTLMv2 auth&#187;, &#171;client plaintext auth&#187;, &#171;client NTLMv2 auth&#187;,  &#171;client lanman auth&#187; a &#171;client use spnego&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\">  Z smb.conf byla odstran\u011bna podpora volby &#171;ldap ssl ads&#187;.
