Vigtige :
- For CUDA language, support for building with Clang on non-Windows platforms has been added. Separate CUDA compilation is still not supported on any platform.
- Support for profiling CMake scripts using the options ‘—profiling-output’ and ‘—profiling-format’ has been added.
- Support for creating alias targets in the add_library() and add_executable() commands that refer to non-global imported targets has been added.
- The cmake_language() command has been added for meta-operations on scripted or built-in commands.
- The file(CONFIGURE) subcommand has been added, similar in functionality to the configure_file() command, but passing content as a string instead of a file reference.
- The REQUIRED option has been added to the find_program(), find_library(), find_path(), and find_file() commands, which instructs to stop processing with an error if nothing was found.
- The variable ‘CMAKE_CUDA_ARCHITECTURES’ has been added for specifying the CUDA architecture (automatically set if ‘CMAKE_CUDA_COMPILER_ID’ is ‘NVIDIA’).
- The property ‘UNITY_BUILD_MODE’ has been added to choose the algorithm for grouping included source files in generators (BATCH, GROUP).
- The CheckLinkerFlag module has been added to check the validity of linking flags.
- Generator expressions $, $, $, and $ have been added.
- The CTEST_RESOURCE_SPEC_FILE variable has been added to the ctest utility to specify a resource specification file.
