Projektet udvikler ogs\u00e5 en eksperimentel port af skrivebordsmilj\u00f8et Unity 8, som er blevet omd\u00f8bt til Lomiri.       <\/p>\n<p>Opdatering af Ubuntu Touch OTA-23 er lavet til smartphones BQ E4.5\/E5\/M10\/U Plus, Cosmo Communicator, F(x)tec Pro1, Fairphone 2\/3, Google Pixel 2XL\/3a, Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 4\/5, Meizu MX4\/Pro 5, Nexus 7 2013, OnePlus 2\/3\/5\/6\/One, Samsung Galaxy Note 4\/S3 Neo+, Sony Xperia X\/XZ\/Z4, Vollaphone, Xiaomi Mi A2\/A3, Xiaomi Poco F1, Xiaomi Redmi 3s\/3x\/3sp\/4X\/7, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7\/7 Pro. Separat, uden m\u00e6rket &#171;OTA-23&#187;, vil opdateringer blive forberedt til enhederne Pine64 PinePhone og PineTab. I forhold til den tidligere version er der tilf\u00f8jet support for smartphones Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, Google Pixel 2 og Google Pixel 3a XL.      <\/p>\n<p>Ubuntu Touch OTA-23 er stadig baseret p\u00e5 Ubuntu 16.04, men de seneste bestr\u00e6belser fra udviklerne har v\u00e6ret rettet mod forberedelserne til overgangen til Ubuntu 20.04. Af \u00e6ndringerne i OTA-23 bem\u00e6rkes:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Der er implementeret grundl\u00e6ggende support til FM-radio, som i \u00f8jeblikket kun kan anvendes p\u00e5 enhederne BQ E4.5, BQ E5 og Xiaomi Note 7 Pro (antallet af underst\u00f8ttede enheder vil blive udvidet i de kommende versioner).\n<li class=\"l\"> I messaging-appen er MMS-behandlingen forbedret til store vedh\u00e6ftninger, og fjernelse af specialtegn &#171;&#038;&#187;, &#171;&lt;&#187; og &#171;&gt;&#187; fra tekstbeskeder er blevet deaktiveret.\n<li class=\"l\"> I medieafspilleren er der nu support til hardwareaccelereret videoafkodning p\u00e5 tabletten Jingpad A1.\n<li class=\"l\"> Der er givet mulighed for at bruge Aethercast-protokollen til tr\u00e5dl\u00f8s forbindelse til eksterne sk\u00e6rme.\n<li class=\"l\"> P\u00e5 alle enheder er der sikret hurtig t\u00e6nding og slukning af sk\u00e6rmen, uafh\u00e6ngig af det omgivende lys, hvilket giver hurtigere adgang til enheden og
