Distributionen tilbyder en enkel installationsprogram, der hurtigt kan ops\u00e6tte et arbejdsystem uden behov for at recompilere komponenter fra kildekoder. Brugerene f\u00e5r adgang til et repository med f\u00e6rdige bin\u00e6re pakker, ledsaget af en kontinuerlig opdateringscyklus (rolling-model). Den bruger egen pakkestyresystem, sisyphus, til pakkeh\u00e5ndtering.
