Programkoden er skrevet i programmeringssproget C++ og er tilg\u00e6ngelig (GitHub, GitFlic) under GPLv3-licensen. Brugergr\u00e6nsefladen er implementeret ved hj\u00e6lp af GTK4-biblioteket. Programmet er tilpasset til at arbejde p\u00e5 operativsystemer fra Linux-familien og Windows. For brugere af Arch Linux er en klar pakke tilg\u00e6ngelig i AUR.    <\/p>\n<p>MyLibrary katalogiserer bogfiler i formaterne fb2, epub, pdf, djvu, b\u00e5de direkte og pakket i arkiver, og opretter en egen database, uden at \u00e6ndre de oprindelige filer eller deres placering. Integritetskontrollen af samlingen og dens \u00e6ndringer udf\u00f8res ved at oprette en database med hash-v\u00e6rdier for filer og arkiver.    <\/p>\n<p>B\u00f8ger kan s\u00f8ges efter forskellige kriterier (efternavnet, fornavnet, mellemnavnet forfatteren, bogens titel, serie, genre) og l\u00e6ses gennem det program, der som standard er installeret i systemet til \u00e5bning af de relevante filformater. N\u00e5r en bog v\u00e6lges, vises et resum\u00e9 og forsiden, hvis de er tilg\u00e6ngelige.    <\/p>\n<p>Forskellige operationer er mulige med samlingen: opdatering (der udf\u00f8res kontrol af hele samlingen og sammenligning af hash-v\u00e6rdierne for de tilg\u00e6ngelige filer), eksport og import af samlingsdatabasen, tilf\u00f8jelse af b\u00f8ger til samlingen og fjernelse af b\u00f8ger fra samlingen, kopiering af b\u00f8ger fra samlingen til en vilk\u00e5rlig mappe. Der er oprettet en bogm\u00e6rkefunktion for hurtig adgang til b\u00f8gerne.    <\/p>\n<p>I den nye version:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Underst\u00f8ttelse af arkiver .7z, .jar, .cpio, .iso, .a, .ar, .tar, .tgz, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .tar.xz, .rar er blevet tilf\u00f8jet.\n<li class=\"l\"> Overgangen til GTK 4.10 (gtkmm 4.10) er gennemf\u00f8rt.
