Indtil nu har projektet givet mulighed for at v\u00e6lge mellem Mercurial eller Git, men hovedsageligt blev Mercurial anvendt i det prim\u00e6re repository. Da det at opretholde st\u00f8tte til begge systemer skaber en stor belastning p\u00e5 de teams, der er ansvarlige for infrastrukturen, er det blevet besluttet kun at fokusere p\u00e5 Git til fremtidig udvikling. Mozilla vil forts\u00e6tte med at bruge tjenesterne Bugzilla, moz-phab, Phabricator og Lando.    <\/p>\n<p>Det forventes, at migrationen til Git vil tage mindst 6 m\u00e5neder. Overgangen vil finde sted i to faser:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\">  I den f\u00f8rste fase vil hovedrepositoryet for projektet blive skiftet fra Mercurial til Git, og st\u00f8tten til Mercurial vil blive fjernet p\u00e5 udviklernes computere. I denne fase vil Git blive brugt lokalt p\u00e5 udviklernes systemer, og brugen af moz-phab til overf\u00f8rsel af patches til gennemgang vil forts\u00e6tte. Alle \u00e6ndringer vil f\u00f8rst blive placeret i Git-repositoryet, hvorefter de vil blive overf\u00f8rt til den eksisterende Mercurial-infrastruktur.\n<li class=\"l\"> I den anden fase vil Mercurial gradvist blive erstattet med Git i projektets infrastruktur, trin for trin.
