Regolith er baseret p\u00e5 GNOME-session management-teknologier, vinduesmanageren i3, kompositserverne Picom og Sway, i3bar-panelet, rofication-baseret notifikationssystem, i3status-rs statuslinjen og programlanceringsinterfacet ilia. Projektets arbejder distribueres under GPLv3-licensen. Pakker til Ubuntu og Debian er forberedt til download.    <\/p>\n<p>Projektet positionerer sig som et moderne skrivebordsmilj\u00f8, der udvikles for hurtigere udf\u00f8relse af standardhandlinger gennem optimering af arbejdsprocesser og fjernelse af un\u00f8dig rod. M\u00e5let er at tilbyde et funktionelt, men minimalistisk interface, der kan tilpasses og udvides efter brugerens pr\u00e6ferencer. Regolith kan v\u00e6re interessant for nybegyndere, der er vant til traditionelle vinduessystemer, men \u00f8nsker at pr\u00f8ve metoder til rammebaseret (mosaik) vindueslayout.      <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>I den nye version:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sessionen, der bruger Wayland, er tilpasset til brug i Debian Testing. Wayland-support er kun tilg\u00e6ngelig for Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian Testing og Debian 12.
