For at bruge DXVK kr\u00e6ves drivere, der underst\u00f8tter Vulkan API 1.3, s\u00e5som Mesa RADV 22.0, NVIDIA 510.47.03, Intel ANV 22.0 og AMDVLK. DXVK kan anvendes til at k\u00f8re 3D-applikationer og spil p\u00e5 Linux ved hj\u00e6lp af Wine, som en mere h\u00f8jtydende alternativ til de indbyggede Wine-implementeringer af Direct3D 9\/10\/11, der arbejder oven p\u00e5 OpenGL.      <\/p>\n<p>Vigtige \u00e6ndringer:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Integration af resultaterne fra D8VK-projektet, der muligg\u00f8r overs\u00e6ttelse af Direct3D 8 til Vulkan API. Udviklerne har testet underst\u00f8ttelsen af over 200 gamle spil, der er bundet til Direct3D 8, herunder GTA III, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Freelancer, Postal 2, Warcraft III, Another World 15, Need for Speed: High Stakes, Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit, Red Faction II, Max Payne 2, Unreal II: The Awakening, Silent Hill 3.\n<li class=\"l\"> I dxvk-native, en version af DXVK, der kan fungere uafh\u00e6ngigt af Wine, er muligheden for at bruge WSI-backends (Window System Integration) til forskellige vinduessystemer blevet tilf\u00f8jet.
