Udgivelsen inkluderer \u00e6ndringer i selve sproget og dets standardbibliotek. Blandt de vigtigste \u00e6ndringer er brugen af den nye <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.python.org\/3.13\/glossary.html#term-interactive\">interaktive fortolker<\/a> som standard, eksperimentel support for arbejde i <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.python.org\/3.13\/whatsnew\/3.13.html#whatsnew313-free-threaded-cpython\">free-threaded-tilstand<\/a> (dvs. med deaktivering af <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.python.org\/3.13\/glossary.html#term-global-interpreter-lock\">global interpreter lock<\/a>) (<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/peps.python.org\/pep-0703\/\">PEP 703<\/a>), og <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.python.org\/3.13\/whatsnew\/3.13.html#whatsnew313-jit-compiler\">JIT-kompilatoren<\/a> (<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/peps.python.org\/pep-0744\/\">PEP 744<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex>  <noindex><\/p>\n<p>Fra denne udgivelse er der sket en overgang til den nye udgivelsescyklus for Python (Annual Release Cycle for Python, <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/peps.python.org\/pep-0602\/\">PEP 602<\/a>), i forbindelse med \u00f8nsket om at udvide perioden for &laquo;fuld support&raquo; af nye udgivelser:<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Python 3.9-3.12 har halvandet \u00e5r med fuld support, efterfulgt af tre et halvt \u00e5rs sikkerhedsfejlrettelse.<\/li>\n<li>Python 3.13 og senere udgivelser vil have to \u00e5rs fuld support og tre \u00e5rs rettelser af s\u00e5rbarheder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <noindex><\/p>\n<p>Der arbejdes fortsat p\u00e5 <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.python.org\/3.13\/whatsnew\/3.13.html#whatsnew313-improved-error-messages\">forbedring af fejlmeddelelser.<\/a>. Nu er traceback&rsquo;ere som standard fremh\u00e6vet i farver.
