Pakken inkluderer ogs\u00e5 v\u00e6rkt\u00f8jerne gifdiff og gifview (til X11) til henholdsvis sammenligning og visning af GIF-filer.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex>  <\/p>\n<p>V\u00e6rkt\u00f8jet er skrevet i C og distribueres under GNU GPL 2-licensen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c6ndringslog:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Med indstillingen \u2014lossy bliver det nuvalgte farverum (angivet med \u2014gamma, som standard sRGB) brugt til at m\u00e5le farvefejl, og en anden algoritme anvendes til at beregne farveforskelle. Som resultat opf\u00f8rer indstillingen \u2014lossy=N sig anderledes i version 1.96 sammenlignet med tidligere versioner. Med en angivet v\u00e6rdi for N kan komprimeringen v\u00e6re d\u00e5rligere end forventet. Den t\u00e6tteste analog til tidligere versioner vil opn\u00e5s ved at bruge \u2014lossy=N \u2014gamma=1.<\/li>\n<li>Behandlingen af GIF-filer med billeder langt uden for den logiske sk\u00e6rm er forbedret. Dette kan betydeligt reducere hukommelsesforbruget.<\/li>\n<li>Forel\u00f8big st\u00f8tte til farverummet <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oklab_color_space\">Oklab<\/a> (\u2014gamma=oklab).<\/li>\n<li>En dithering-algoritme <strong>atkinson<\/strong> (\u2014dither=atkinson).<\/li>\n<li>Muligheden \u2014use-exact-colormap er blevet tilf\u00f8jet.<\/li>\n<li>Fejlene er
