Distributionen har h\u00f8je sikkerhedskrav og er bygget med Stack Smashing Protection (SSP). OpenRC anvendes som init-system, og en egen pakkeh\u00e5ndtering apk bruges til pakkeh\u00e5ndtering. Alpine anvendes til at skabe officielle Docker containerbilleder og anvendes i PostmarketOS-projektet. Bootable iso-billeder (x86_64, x86, armhf, aarch64, armv7, ppc64le, s390x, riscv64 og loongarch64) er forberedt i seks varianter: standard (240 MB), netboot (268 MB), udvidet (1 GB), til <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/da\/vps\/\"   title=\"virtual machines\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2206\">virtual machines<\/a> (64 MB) og til hypervisoren Xen (1 GB).     <\/p>\n<p>I den nye version:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Pakker med nye versioner af skrivebordsmilj\u00f8er GNOME 48, KDE Plasma 6.3 og LXQt 2.2 er blevet introduceret. X11 sessionen til KDE er blevet fjernet, kun Wayland supporten er efterladt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Versionerne af pakker er blevet opdateret, for eksempel er Linux-kernel 6.12, GCC 14.2.0, LLVM 20, busybox 1.37.0, ISC BIND 9.20, nginx 1.28, Dovecot 2.4, Node.js 22.16, Ruby 3.4, Rust 1.87, Xen 4.20, Crystal 1.16, Docker 28, Go 1.24, PHP 8.4, BIRD 3, Qt 6.8, wlroots 0.18 tilg\u00e6ngelige.\n<li class=\"l\"> Systemd-efistub er blevet aktiveret i stedet for bootloader gummiboot (kun denne komponent, ikke hele systemd).\n<li class=\"l\"> Forberedelse til overgangen til pakkeh\u00e5ndtering apk 3 er gjort til den n\u00e6ste udgivelse.\n<li class=\"l\"> Fonten for GTK-applikationer er blevet \u00e6ndret til adwaita, som er den standard der anvendes i GNOME 48.\n<li class=\"l\"> Efter lukningen af Mozilla Location Service er placeringstjenesterne blevet overf\u00f8rt til at bruge BeaconDB med oplysninger om placeringen af kendte tr\u00e5dl\u00f8se adgangspunkter.\n<li class=\"l\"> Containerh\u00e5ndteringsv\u00e6rkt\u00f8jet LXD er flyttet fra hovedrepoet til testrepoet.
