Caroline Stage, minister for digitization in the Danish government, has confirmed the agreement between the government and regional authorities on the digital sovereignty strategy. In the first phase of implementing this new strategy, the Danish Ministry of Digitization will cease using Microsoft products in favor of open-source software. LibreOffice will be used as the office suite. Half of the employees will transition to LibreOffice within the next month. The plan is to complete the transition of all employees to open-source software by the end of the year. <\/p>\n
