Efter et \u00e5rs udvikling har SUSE pr\u00e6senteret udgivelsen af distributionssystemet SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP7. Produkter som SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop, SUSE Linux Enterprise High Performance Computing og SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension er baseret p\u00e5 SUSE Linux Enterprise-platformen. Distributionen kan downloades og bruges gratis, men adgangen til opdateringer og reparationer er begr\u00e6nset til en 60-dages pr\u00f8veperiode. Udgivelsen er tilg\u00e6ngelig i versioner til arkitekturerne aarch64, ppc64le, s390x og x86_64. Udgivelsen vil blive st\u00f8ttet indtil juni 2031, bortset fra de udvidede supportprogrammer LTSS og LTSS Core, der vil v\u00e6re gyldige indtil henholdsvis 2034 og 2037. <\/p>\n
I mods\u00e6tning til tidligere udgivelser planl\u00e6gges det ikke at danne en udgave af openSUSE Leap 15.7 baseret p\u00e5 SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP7. Udgivelsen openSUSE Leap 16.0 vil erstatte openSUSE Leap 15.6, og udgivelsen forventes til efter\u00e5ret. openSUSE Leap 16 er baseret p\u00e5 teknologierne fra den udviklingsgren, SUSE Linux Enterprise 16, men bevarer karakteristika fra den klassiske distribution, der bruger traditionelle pakker.
