Der leveres komponenter til USB-stakken for USB-v\u00e6rter (USB Host) og for tilsluttede enheder (USB Device). Projektkoden er skrevet i C og distribueres under MIT-licensen.    <\/p>\n<p>For at \u00f8ge sikkerheden anvendes der ikke dynamisk hukommelsestildeling i TinyUSB. Det underst\u00f8ttes i multitr\u00e5dede applikationer. For sikker multitr\u00e5det drift behandles alle h\u00e6ndelser relateret til afbrydelser ikke straks ved indgangen af ISR (Interrupt Service Request), men placeres i en queue, der behandles i konteksten af applikationens udf\u00f8relse og ikke i afbryderbehandleren. Ved adgang til delte ressourcer, s\u00e5som FIFO CDC (Communication Device Class), anvendes semaforer og mutekser.     <\/p>\n<p>Stakken er abstraheret fra operativsystemet og kan bruges som en selvst\u00e6ndig komponent, uden relation til funktionaliteten i operativsystemerne. Der er moduler til integrering af TinyUSB med OS FreeRTOS, RT-Thread og Apache Mynewt. Mulighederne for energibesparelse underst\u00f8ttes, s\u00e5som overgang til dvaletilstand og opv\u00e5gning ved aktivitet.
