Projektet best\u00e5r af cirka 130.000 linjer kode skrevet i C++ og distribueres under GPL (kerner og grundprogrammer), LGPL (biblioteker) og MIT (moduler). Der underst\u00f8ttes bygninger til x86-64-v3 og ARMv8.1-arkitekturer (kan k\u00f8re p\u00e5 Raspberry Pi 5).<\/p>\n<p>Systemopkald og lavniveauinterfaces i kernen er implementeret efter m\u00f8nster fra Windows NT, men kernes struktur og tilh\u00f8rende komponenter adskiller sig fra Windows NT. Der gives mulighed for at k\u00f8re GNU-milj\u00f8komponenter og programmer skrevet til Unix-lignende systemer. PE anvendes som filformat til eksekverbare filer, biblioteker har udvidelsen dll, mens programmer er .exe.<\/p>\n<p>Underst\u00f8ttede hardwareenheder:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Bloklagringsenheder: NVMe, SATA, SDHCI (SD-kort), virtio-block og USB-drev.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nettverkskort: virtio-net, RTL8168, RTL8125.\n<li class=\"l\"> Indgangsenheder: virtio-input, USB HID, tastaturer og mus med PS\/2-interface.\n<li class=\"l\"> Grafik: virtio-gpu, GOP framebuffer, VBE, VGA-konsol.\n<li class=\"l\"> Konsol: virtio-console, seriel port x86, PL011 ARM.\n<li class=\"l\"> USB: XHCI.\n<\/ul>\n<p>I \u00f8jeblikket implementerer Moxnox 642 funktioner ud af cirka 1200, beskrevet i POSIX 2024-standarden, men dette er nok til at k\u00f8re projekter som gcc, bash, mesa, openssh, openssl, perl, python og rust.
