Som standard anvender GhostBSD filsystemet ZFS. B\u00e5de live-tilstand og installation p\u00e5 harddisk underst\u00f8ttes (med en brugerdefineret installer ginstall, skrevet i Python). Bootbillederne er dannet til x86_64-arkitektur.<\/p>\n<p>I den nye version:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> En ny installer er implementeret. Installationsprocessen er opdelt i to faser: Install Station til installation af systemkomponenter p\u00e5 mediet og Setup Station til konfiguration og oprettelse af brugere ved f\u00f8rste opstart af det nye system. Nye sider er tilf\u00f8jet til konfiguration af ZFS og netv\u00e6rket. St\u00f8tte til fulddiskkryptering er implementeret ved hj\u00e6lp af GELI-v\u00e6rkt\u00f8jerne.\n<li class=\"l\"> Overgangen til FreeBSD 15.1 er gennemf\u00f8rt (tidligere var distributionen baseret p\u00e5 FreeBSD 15.0).\n<li class=\"l\"> Bootmenuen er som standard skjult, men vises nu, n\u00e5r der trykkes p\u00e5 hvilken som helst tast. En mulighed er tilf\u00f8jet til bootmenuen for at aktivere visningen af bootloggen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Backup Station-appen er omd\u00f8bt til BE Station og kan bruges til at oprette boot-milj\u00f8er.\n<li class=\"l\"> I Update Station-appen er installation af opdateringer i boot-milj\u00f8et implementeret.\n<li class=\"l\"> I NetworkMgr til Wi-Fi-styring er v\u00e6rkt\u00f8jet wpa_cli anvendt, og netv\u00e6rksindstillinger gemmes kun efter en succesfuld tilslutning.\n<li class=\"l\"> Software Station-applikationen har f\u00e5et tilf\u00f8jet st\u00f8tte til casesensitiv s\u00f8gning.\n<li class=\"l\"> St\u00f8rrelsen p\u00e5 iso-billedet er reduceret ved at fjerne for\u00e6ldede og serverpakker fra det grundl\u00e6ggende system: audit, autofs, bsnmp, hast, inetd, kerberos, nuageinit, quotacheck, rdma, librpcsec_gss, yp, cxgbe-tools, mlx-tools, librss, netmap, apm, at, ftp, ppp, natd, rcmds, ccdconfig, libvgl, ipf, pf, ctf, dtrace, dwatch, lldb, lib9p, libvmmapi, lib32: bluetooth, bsnmp, libcuse, librss, libvgl, natd, netmap, librpcsec_gss, lib9p, zfs.\n<li class=\"l\"> Genvejstasten Ctrl+Alt+T er tilf\u00f8jet for at \u00e5bne terminalen i
