Projektets resultater <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/tildearrow\/kwin-lowlatency\">distribueres<\/a><\/noindex> er under GPLv2-licensen.<br \/>\nFor Arch Linux tilbydes en klar PKGBUILD i AUR. I Gentoo forberedes en ebuild mulighed for at bygge KWin med lowlatency patches.<\/p>\n<p>Den nye udgave er bem\u00e6rkelsesv\u00e6rdig for at underst\u00f8tte systemer med NVIDIA grafikkort. DRM VBlank koden er blevet erstattet med brugen af glXWaitVideoSync for at give beskyttelse mod tearing ved output uden negativ indflydelse p\u00e5 reaktionshastigheden. Oprindeligt blev beskyttelsen mod tearing i KWin implementeret ved hj\u00e6lp af en timer, hvilket kunne f\u00f8re til store forsinkelser (op til 50ms) i output og dermed til en forsinkelse i reaktionen ved input.<\/p>\n<p>Der er tilf\u00f8jet yderligere indstillinger (Systemindstillinger &gt; Visning og Monitor &gt; Kompositor), som g\u00f8r det muligt at finde den optimale balance mellem responsivitet og funktionalitet. Som standard er underst\u00f8ttelse af line\u00e6re animationer deaktiveret (kan aktiveres i indstillingerne). Der er tilf\u00f8jet en tilstand til at deaktivere omdirigeringer af fuldsk\u00e6rmsoutput gennem en transitbuffer (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/tildearrow\/kwin-lowlatency\/blob\/Plasma\/5.15\/unredirect.md\">unredirected fullscreen<\/a><\/noindex>), hvilket g\u00f8r det muligt at forbedre ydeevnen for
