Projektets kode er skrevet i C++ (gr\u00e6nseflade i Qt) og <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/LMMS\/lmms\">distribueres<\/a><\/noindex> under GPLv2 licens. F\u00e6rdige build <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/lmms.io\/download\/#linux\">forberedes<\/a><\/noindex> til Linux (i AppImage-format), macOS og Windows.<\/p>\n<p>Programmet kombinerer funktionerne i en digital lydarbejdsstation (DAW) med redakt\u00f8rer til oprettelse af musikmateriale, s\u00e5som rytmeeditor, sporredakt\u00f8r, klaviaturredakt\u00f8r til optagelse med MIDI-tastatur og sangredakt\u00f8r til sammens\u00e6tning af materialer i en kompleks form. Det inkluderer en 64-kanals mixerpult med st\u00f8tte til tilslutning af plugins i SoundFont2, LADSPA og VST-formater. Der leveres 16 indbyggede synthesizere, herunder emulatorer af Roland TB-303, Commodore 64 SID, Nintendo NES, GameBoy og Yamaha OPL2, samt en indbygget synthesizer <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ZynAddSubFX\">ZynAddSubFx<\/a><\/noindex>.
