Projektet tilbyder en kommunikationsserver, der kan integreres med web-publiceringssystemer, udstyret med et gennemsigtigt identifikationssystem og adgangskontrol til de decentraliserede netv\u00e6rk Fediverse. Projektets kode er skrevet i PHP og Javascript og <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/framagit.org\/hubzilla\/core\">distribueres<\/a><\/noindex> under MIT-licensen.<\/p>\n<p>Hubzilla underst\u00f8tter et samlet autentificeringssystem til brug som socialt netv\u00e6rk, fora, diskussionsgrupper, Wiki, systemer til artikeludgivelse og hjemmesider. Der er ogs\u00e5 implementeret et datalager med WebDAV-underst\u00f8ttelse og mulighed for at arbejde med h\u00e6ndelser med CalDAV-underst\u00f8ttelse.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f8deral interaktion finder sted p\u00e5 basis af en egen protokol <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/framagit.org\/zot\/zap\/blob\/dev\/spec\/Zot6\/Home.md\">ZotVI<\/a><\/noindex>, der realiserer konceptet WebMTA til at transmittere indhold via WWW i decentraliserede netv\u00e6rk og tilbyder en r\u00e6kke unikke funktioner, herunder gennemsigtig end-to-end autentificering &#171;Nomadic Identity&#187; inden for Zot-netv\u00e6rket samt kloningsfunktionen, der sikrer fuldst\u00e6ndigt identiske adgangspunkter og s\u00e6t af brugerdata p\u00e5 forskellige noder i netv\u00e6rket.
