Udgivelsen af Live-versioner er forsinket. <\/p>\n<p>Forskellene fra RHEL best\u00e5r prim\u00e6rt af rebranding og rensning af forbindelserne til Red Hat-tjenester. F\u00f8r opgradering til Scientific Linux 7.8 anbefales det at k\u00f8re &#8216;yum clean all&#8217; for at rense cachen.<\/p>\n<p>Vigtige <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/ftp.scientificlinux.org\/linux\/scientific\/7.7\/x86_64\/release-notes\/\">funktioner<\/a><\/noindex>  Scientific Linux 7.8:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Pakker med Python 3.6 er tilf\u00f8jet (tidligere var Python 3 ikke inkluderet i RHEL);\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Pakke med <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.openafs.org\/\">OpenAFS<\/a><\/noindex>, en \u00e5ben implementering af Andrew File System distribueret filsystem;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\">Pakke SL_gdm_no_user_list er tilf\u00f8jet, som deaktiverer visningen af brugerlisten i GDM ved behov for at opretholde en strammere sikkerhedspolitik;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\">  Pakke SL_enable_serialconsole er tilf\u00f8jet for at konfigurere en konsol, der k\u00f8rer gennem en seriel port;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Pakke SL_no_colorls er tilf\u00f8jet, som deaktiverer farver i ls-output;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\">\u00c6ndringer er foretaget i pakker, hovedsageligt relateret til rebranding: anaconda, dhcp, grub2, httpd, ipa, kernel, libreport, PackageKit, pesign, plymouth, redhat-rpm-config, shim, yum, cockpit;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sammenlignet med 6.x-grenen er pakkerne alpine, SL_desktop_tweaks, SL_password_for_singleuser, yum-autoupdate, yum-conf-adobe, thunderbird (tilg\u00e6ngelig i EPEL7-repositoriet) fjernet fra basisudvalget.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Komponenter (shim, grub2, Linux-kernel), der bruges under opstart i UEFI Secure Boot, er signeret med en n\u00f8gle fra Scientific Linux, hvilket ved aktivering af verificeret boot kr\u00e6ver udf\u00f8relse af <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/ftp.scientificlinux.org\/linux\/scientific\/7.5\/x86_64\/release-notes\/#_about_uefi_secure_boot\">manuelle operationer<\/a><\/noindex>, da n\u00f8glen skal tilf\u00f8jes til firmware;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\">Et system med yum-cron bruges til automatisk installation af opdateringer i stedet for yum-autoupdate. Som standard anvendes opdateringer automatisk med efterf\u00f8lgende meddelelse til brugeren. For at \u00e6ndre adf\u00e6rden ved automatiseret installation er der forberedt pakker SL_yum-cron_no_automated_apply_updates (forhindrer automatisk installation af opdateringer) og SL_yum-cron_no_default_excludes (tillader installation af opdateringer med kernen);\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\">Filer med konfiguration af eksterne repositories (EPEL, ELRepo,<br \/>\nSL-Extras, SL-SoftwareCollections, ZFSonLinux er blevet flyttet til et centraliseret lager, da disse repositories ikke er specifikke for bestemte versioner og kan bruges med enhver version af Scientific Linux 7. For at hente information om repositories skal du k\u00f8re &#171;yum install yum-conf-repos&#187;, og derefter konfigurere de enkelte repositories, s\u00e5som &#171;yum install yum-conf-epel
