Projektets kildekoder distribueres under BSD-licensen. Klientbiblioteker er tilg\u00e6ngelige for de fleste popul\u00e6re sprog, herunder Perl, Python, PHP, Java, Ruby og Tcl. It is also possible to organize master-slave data replication across multiple servers in a non-blocking mode. The implementation of ACLs does not incur additional overhead and has virtually no impact on performance. Interface modules for ACLs are also prepared, allowing the creation of custom authentication methods. There is an 'ACL LOG' command to view all recorded violations of ACLs.
