Opgaverne, som distributionen udf\u00f8rer, ligner det propriet\u00e6re produkt Norton Ghost. St\u00f8rrelse <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/clonezilla\/files\/clonezilla_live_stable\/2.6.6-15\/\">iso-billede<\/a><\/noindex> distribution \u2014 277 MB (i686, amd64).<\/p>\n<p>Distributionen er baseret p\u00e5 Debian GNU\/Linux og anvender kode fra projekter som DRBL, Partition Image, ntfsclone, partclone, udpcast. Boot er muligt fra CD\/DVD, USB Flash og over netv\u00e6rk (PXE). LVM2 og filsystemer som ext2, ext3, ext4, reiserfs, reiser4, xfs, jfs, btrfs, f2fs, nilfs2, FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, HFS+, UFS, minix, VMFS3 og VMFS5 (VMware ESX) underst\u00f8ttes. Der er en netv\u00e6rksbaseret kloningsfunktion, inklusive muligheden for multicast-trafik, der g\u00f8r det muligt at klone den prim\u00e6re disk til et stort antal klientmaskiner p\u00e5 \u00e9n gang.
