Milj\u00f8et er baseret p\u00e5 den \u00e5bne kode-editor Visual Studio Code (VSCode), som k\u00f8rer i browseren. Udover direkte kodning tilbydes funktioner som bygning, test, fejlfinding, implementering af applikationer, automatisk installation af afh\u00e6ngigheder og konfiguration af SSH-n\u00f8gler. Resultatet vedh\u00e6ftes direkte til pull-anmodningen. Kontrollen udf\u00f8res ved hj\u00e6lp af en motor.  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/securitylab.github.com\/tools\/codeql\">CodeQL<\/a><\/noindex>, der analyserer m\u00f8nstre med typiske eksempler p\u00e5 s\u00e5rbar kode.\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/features\/security\/advanced-security\/signup\">Secret scanning<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 nu tilg\u00e6ngelig for private repositoryer. Tjenesten vurderer l\u00e6kager af fortrolige oplysninger, s\u00e5som autentificeringstokener og adgangsn\u00f8gler. Under commit-scanningen kontrollerer scanneren standardformater for n\u00f8gler og tokens, der bruges af 20 cloud-udbydere og -tjenester, herunder AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, npm, Stripe og
