Version 4.0 of the widely known financial accounting program \n(income, expenses, bank accounts, stocks) GnuCash has been released. It features a hierarchical account system, can split a single transaction into multiple parts, and can directly import account data from the internet. It is based on professional accounting principles. It comes with a set of standard reports and allows you to create your own reports, both new and modified from the provided ones.<\/p>\n
Significant changes include a command line tool for performing a number of functions outside the graphical interface, support for accounts receivable and payable, improved translation, and much more.<\/p>\n
