Distributionen leveres i to varianter: Static baseret p\u00e5 openSUSE-udgivelser og Rolling baseret p\u00e5 Tumbleweed-arkiverne. St\u00f8rrelse <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/geckolinux\/files\/Static\/\">iso-billede<\/a><\/noindex> omkring 1,3 GB.<\/p>\n<p>Som s\u00e6rlige funktioner n\u00e6vnes, at den leveres i form af downloadable live-builds, som underst\u00f8tter drift b\u00e5de i live-tilstand og installation p\u00e5 station\u00e6re medier. Builds er dannet med skriveborde s\u00e5som Cinnamon, Mate, Xfce, LXQt, GNOME og KDE Plasma. Hvert milj\u00f8 adskiller sig med optimale standardindstillinger (for eksempel er fontindstillingerne optimeret) under hensyntagen til hvert skrivebord og en n\u00f8je udvalgt samling af foresl\u00e5ede applikationer. <\/p>\n<p>I hovedpakken indg\u00e5r og er straks klar til brug propriet\u00e6re multimedia codecs, og yderligere propriet\u00e6re programmer er tilg\u00e6ngelige via arkiver, herunder Google og Skype arkiverne. For at optimere energiforbruget anvendes pakken <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/linrunner.de\/en\/tlp\/tlp.html\">TLP<\/a><\/noindex>. Prioritet gives til installation af pakker fra <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/packman.links2linux.org\/\">Packman<\/a><\/noindex>, da nogle openSUSE-pakker har begr\u00e6nsninger relateret til brugen af patenteret teknologi. Som standard installeres der ikke pakker fra kategorien &#171;anbefalede&#187; efter installation.
