Projektets kode <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/htop-dev\/htop\/\">distribueres<\/a><\/noindex> er under GPLv2-licens. V\u00e6rkt\u00f8jet er bem\u00e6rkelsesv\u00e6rdigt med funktioner som fri vertikal og horisontal rullning af proceslisten, v\u00e6rkt\u00f8jer til vurdering af SMP-ydeevne og anvendelse af hver CPU-kerne, tilstedev\u00e6relsen af en tr\u00e6visningsmodus, fleksible tilpasningsmuligheder for gr\u00e6nsefladen, support til procesfiltrering og -styring (afslutning, justering af prioritet).<\/p>\n<p>Udgivelsen blev forberedt af et nyt team af vedligeholdere, der overtog udviklingen efter en lang periode med inaktivitet fra den oprindelige forfatter af projektet. De nye vedligeholdere oprettede en fork uden at \u00e6ndre navnet, flyttede udviklingen til et nyt repository <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/htop-dev\">htop-dev<\/a><\/noindex> og registrerede et separat dom\u00e6ne for projektet <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
