GNU Assembly pr\u00e6senteres som en platform for samarbejde blandt udviklere af GNU-pakker, som handler for brugernes frihed og deler den foresl\u00e5ede vision for GNU-projektet.       <\/p>\n<p>GNU Assembly positionerer sig som et nyt hjem for udviklere og vedligeholdere af GNU-projekter, der ikke er tilfredse med den nuv\u00e6rende forvaltningsorganisation. Ledelsesmodellen for GNU Assembly er endnu ikke fastlagt og er under diskussion. Som referencemodeller overvejes ledelsesstrukturerne i GNOME Foundation og Debian.     <\/p>\n<p>Et af de centrale principper for projektet er gennemsigtighed i alle processer og diskussioner, kollektiv beslutningstagning baseret p\u00e5 opn\u00e5else af konsensus og overholdelse af en adf\u00e6rdskodeks, der v\u00e6rds\u00e6tter forskellighed blandt deltagerne samt venligt samarbejde.
