Libreboot reinigt CoreBoot nicht nur von nicht freien Komponenten, sondern erg\u00e4nzt es auch um Mittel, die die Anwendung f\u00fcr Endbenutzer erleichtern und ein Distribution bereitstellen, die von jedem Benutzer ohne spezielle Kenntnisse genutzt werden kann.     <\/p>\n<p>Von bereits gut getesteten Ger\u00e4ten, auf denen Libreboot problemlos verwendet werden kann, sind Laptops auf Basis der Intel GM45-Chips (ThinkPad X200, T400), die X4X-Plattform (Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L), ASUS KCMA-D8, ASUS KGPE-D16 und Intel i945 (ThinkPad X60\/T60, Macbook 1\/2) zu nennen. Nach der letzten Ver\u00f6ffentlichung wurde der Versuch unternommen, das Assemblierungssystem vollst\u00e4ndig neu zu schreiben, aber dieser scheiterte und f\u00fchrte zu einer langen Unterbrechung bei der Erstellung neuer Versionen. Im letzten Jahr wurde der Plan zum Neuschreiben abgebrochen, und es begann die Arbeit an der Verbesserungen des alten Assemblierungssystems und der Behebung grundlegender architektonischer Probleme. Die Ergebnisse wurden in einem separaten Projekt osboot umgesetzt, das als Grundlage f\u00fcr lbmk dient. Die neue Version behebt die alten M\u00e4ngel, ist erheblich anpassbarer und modularer. Der Prozess zum Hinzuf\u00fcgen neuer coreboot-Platinen wurde erheblich vereinfacht. Die Arbeit mit den Payload-Handlern GRUB und SeaBIOS wurde in ein separates Team ausgelagert. F\u00fcr UEFI wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung von Tianocore hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr den neuen Code des Coreboot-Projekts zur Initialisierung des grafischen Subsystems wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt, der in ein separates Modul libgfxinit ausgelagert und von C auf Ada umgeschrieben wurde.
