Die Version 70 des Dash to Dock Panels wurde ver\u00f6ffentlicht, das als Erweiterung f\u00fcr die GNOME Shell fungiert. Der Code des Projekts ist in JavaScript geschrieben und steht unter der GPLv2-Lizenz. Diese neue Version zeichnet sich durch die Unterst\u00fctzung von GNOME Shell 40 aus (die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr GNOME 41 ist derzeit nur als Patch verf\u00fcgbar).

Das Ubuntu Dock unterscheidet sich haupts\u00e4chlich durch die Standardeinstellungen und die Notwendigkeit, einen anderen Namen f\u00fcr die Aktualisierung zu verwenden, um den spezifischen Anforderungen des Hauptrepositories von Ubuntu gerecht zu werden.
