Die Version 4MLinux 38.0 wurde ver\u00f6ffentlicht, ein minimalistisches benutzerfreundliches Betriebssystem, das kein Fork von anderen Projekten ist und eine grafische Benutzeroberfl\u00e4che auf Basis von JWM verwendet. 4MLinux kann nicht nur als Live-Umgebung zur Wiedergabe von Multimedia-Dateien und zur Erledigung von Benutzeraufgaben eingesetzt werden, sondern auch als System zur Wiederherstellung nach Ausf\u00e4llen und als Plattform zum Betreiben von LAMP-Servern (Linux, Apache, MariaDB und PHP). Die ISO-Dateigr\u00f6\u00dfe betr\u00e4gt 1 GB (x86_64).

In der neuen Ausgabe sind im Basispaket der Musikeditor Audacity, der Musikplayer GQmpeg, der Loader GRUB2, die YouTube-Oberfl\u00e4che Minitube, der Musikplayer Musique, das Programm zur Arbeit mit Webcams wxCam und der Mod-Datei-Player xmp enthalten. In die 64-Bit-Versionen wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr 32-Bit-Anwendungen hinzugef\u00fcgt. In die Serverversion f\u00fcr PHP wurde die grafische Bibliothek GD aufgenommen.
