Die Version 16.1 des Linux-Distribution Zorin OS wurde ver\u00f6ffentlicht, die auf der Paketbasis von Ubuntu 20.04 basiert. Die Zielgruppe der Distribution sind Anf\u00e4nger, die an die Arbeit mit Windows gew\u00f6hnt sind. Zur Anpassung des Designs bietet die Distribution einen speziellen Konfigurator, der es erm\u00f6glicht, den Desktop so zu gestalten, dass er dem Erscheinungsbild verschiedener Windows- und macOS-Versionen \u00e4hnelt. Au\u00dferdem ist eine Sammlung von Programmen enthalten, die denen \u00e4hneln, die Windows-Nutzer gewohnt sind. F\u00fcr die Integration des Desktops mit dem Smartphone wird die Anwendung Zorin Connect (auf Basis von KDE Connect) bereitgestellt. Neben den standardm\u00e4\u00dfigen Ubuntu-Repositories wird die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Installation von Programmen aus den Katalogen Flathub und Snap Store hinzugef\u00fcgt. Die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des bootf\u00e4higen ISO-Images betr\u00e4gt 2,8 GB (es sind vier Versionen verf\u00fcgbar \u2013 die regul\u00e4re auf Basis von GNOME, \u201eLite\u201c mit Xfce und deren Varianten f\u00fcr Bildungseinrichtungen). <\/p>\n

In der neuen Version wurden die Versionen von Paketen und Anwendungen aktualisiert, einschlie\u00dflich der Einf\u00fchrung von LibreOffice 7.3. Der \u00dcbergang auf den Linux-Kernel 5.13 mit Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr neue Hardware wurde vorgenommen. Der Grafikstack (Mesa 21.2.6) und die Treiber f\u00fcr Intel-, AMD- und NVIDIA-Chips wurden aktualisiert. Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr 12. Generation von Intel Core-Prozessoren, den Spiel-Controller Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense und die Apple Magic Mouse 2 wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt. Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr drahtlose Ger\u00e4te und Drucker wurde verbessert.
