Die Entwickler des Unternehmens SUSE haben erste Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr die Entwicklung einer bedeutenden neuen Version der SUSE Linux Enterprise Distribution vorgestellt, die unter dem Codenamen ALP (Adaptable Linux Platform) pr\u00e4sentiert wird. Eine weitere wesentliche \u00c4nderung besteht darin, die grundlegende Basis der Distribution in zwei Teile zu gliedern: ein reduziertes \u201ehost OS\u201c, das direkt auf der Hardware l\u00e4uft, und eine Schicht zur Unterst\u00fctzung von Anwendungen, die auf die Ausf\u00fchrung in Containern ausgerichtet ist, sowie virtuellen Maschinen wurde vereinfacht.<\/a>.
