Es wird sowohl im Internet als auch in lokalen Netzwerken unterschiedlicher Konfigurationen unterst\u00fctzt. Der Code der Projekte wird unter der GPLv3-Lizenz verbreitet und ist auf GitHub (Communist, libcommunist) und GitFlic (Communist, libcommunist) verf\u00fcgbar. Es wird Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Linux und Windows angeboten.    <\/p>\n<p>Um eine Verbindung zwischen Benutzern in Communist herzustellen, wird eine Kombination aus einer verteilten Hash-Tabelle (DHT-Variante, die f\u00fcr Torrent-Clients gedacht ist) und der Technik des UDP Hole Punching (zur Interaktion mit Hosts hinter Adress\u00fcbersetzern) verwendet. Es werden die Protokolle IPv4 und IPv6 unterst\u00fctzt. Nachrichten k\u00f6nnen \u00fcber Relais (siehe Dokumentation) gesendet werden. Alle Daten werden verschl\u00fcsselt auf dem Benutzerger\u00e4t gespeichert und ebenfalls verschl\u00fcsselt \u00fcbertragen. F\u00fcr die Verschl\u00fcsselung werden der Standard AES und das digitale Signaturschema ed25519 verwendet.    <\/p>\n<p>Zu den Neuerungen in der neuen Version geh\u00f6ren:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Alle Netzwerkfunktionen wurden in die Bibliothek libcommunist ausgelagert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Funktionalit\u00e4t des Nachrichtenrelays wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt (<a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/de\/server\/\"   title=\"Server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Server<\/a> und des Clients).\n<li class=\"l\"> Eine umfassende
