Ziel des Projekts ist es, eine einfache und transparente Distribution f\u00fcr die Benutzer zu schaffen, die auf BSD-\u00e4hnlichen Initialisierungsskripten basiert, eine maximal vereinfachte Struktur aufweist und relativ wenige vorgefertigte Bin\u00e4rpakete enth\u00e4lt. CRUX unterst\u00fctzt ein Ports-System, das eine einfache Installation und Aktualisierung von Anwendungen im Stil von FreeBSD\/Gentoo erm\u00f6glicht. Die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des f\u00fcr die Architektur x86-64 vorbereiteten ISO-Images betr\u00e4gt 1,1 GB.    <\/p>\n<p>In der neuen Version wurden die Versionen der Systemkomponenten aktualisiert, einschlie\u00dflich des Linux-Kernels 5.15, glibc 2.36, gcc 12.2.0, binutils 2.39. Standardm\u00e4\u00dfig wird weiterhin eine Umgebung basierend auf dem X-Server (xorg-server 21.1.4, Mesa 22.2) bereitgestellt, aber als Option wurde die M\u00f6glichkeit der Verwendung des Wayland-Protokolls implementiert. Das ISO-Image wurde in einem hybriden Format erstellt, das sowohl f\u00fcr das Booten von DVD- als auch von USB-Laufwerken geeignet ist.
