Die Mitarbeiter von Canonical haben Informationen \u00fcber das Projekt ubuntu-mini-iso ver\u00f6ffentlicht, das eine neue minimalistische Version von Ubuntu mit einer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe von etwa 140 MB entwickelt. Die Hauptidee des neuen Installationsabbilds ist es, es universell zu gestalten und die Installation der gew\u00fcnschten Version jeder offiziellen Ubuntu-Edition zu erm\u00f6glichen. <\/p>\n

Das Projekt wird von Dan Bungert geleitet, der den Installer Subiquity betreut. In diesem Stadium wurde bereits ein funktionsf\u00e4higer Prototyp der Version erstellt und getestet, und es wird an der Anbindung an die offizielle Infrastruktur von Ubuntu gearbeitet. Die neue Version soll gemeinsam mit der Fr\u00fchlingsver\u00f6ffentlichung von Ubuntu 23.04 ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden. Die Version kann auf CD\/USB gebrannt oder f\u00fcr das dynamische Booten \u00fcber UEFI HTTP verwendet werden.
