Dieses bietet benutzerfreundliche M\u00f6glichkeiten zur Katalogisierung und Navigation in der Sammlung, unterst\u00fctzt die Gruppierung nach Zeit und Tags, bietet Werkzeuge zum Importieren und Konvertieren neuer Fotos, erm\u00f6glicht g\u00e4ngige Bildbearbeitungsoperationen (Drehen, Beseitigung von Rote-Augen-Effekten, Anpassung der Belichtung, Farboptimierung usw.), enth\u00e4lt Funktionen zum Ver\u00f6ffentlichen in sozialen Netzwerken wie Google Photos, Flickr und MediaGoblin. Der Projektcode ist in Vala geschrieben und steht unter der Lizenz LGPLv2.1+.    <\/p>\n<p>In der neuen Version:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Bildformate JPEG XL, WEBP und AVIF (AV1 Image Format) sowie f\u00fcr die Dateiformate HEIF (HEVC), AVIF, MXF und CR3 (RAW-Format von Canon) hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Gesichtserkennung in Fotos und das Setzen von Tags zur Verkn\u00fcpfung mit Gesichtern sind standardm\u00e4\u00dfig aktiviert. Solche Tags k\u00f6nnen zur Gruppierung, Sortierung und Suche nach Personen in anderen Fotos verwendet werden. Es besteht die M\u00f6glichkeit, Shotwell ohne Gesichtserkennung zu erstellen, um die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Abh\u00e4ngigkeiten (OpenCV) zu reduzieren.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Bilderansicht und die Werkzeuge zur Bildbearbeitung sind f\u00fcr hochaufl\u00f6sende Bildschirme (HiDPI) optimiert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Profile und eine Benutzeroberfl\u00e4che zum Erstellen\/Bearbeiten von Profilen hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Beim Import von Dateien aus Verzeichnissen wird die Verarbeitung der .nomedia-Datei unterst\u00fctzt, die eine selektive Deaktivierung des Inhalts-Scannens erm\u00f6glicht.\n<li class=\"l\"> Das Haarcascade-Profil f\u00fcr die Verwendung des gleichnamigen Objekt-Erkennungsalgorithmus in Fotos hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Verarbeitung von Bildern mit GPS-Metadaten wurde verbessert. Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr den Export von GPS-Metadaten hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Skalierung und das Scrollen mit dem Touchpad wurden verbessert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Es wurde die M\u00f6glichkeit geschaffen, hierarchische Tags zu definieren, die aus mehreren Ebenen bestehen (z. B. \u201eGruppe\/Tag\u201c).\n<li class=\"l\"> F\u00fcr das Senden von Fotos und das Setzen von Desktop-Hintergr\u00fcnden aus isolierten Umgebungen (z. B. beim Installieren eines Pakets im flatpak-Format) wird die Bibliothek libportal verwendet.\n<li class=\"l\"> Es wurde die M\u00f6glichkeit hinzugef\u00fcgt, mehrere Konten f\u00fcr jeden externen Fotoservice zu verwenden (derzeit funktioniert dies nur f\u00fcr Piwigo).\n<li class=\"l\"> Zur Speicherung der Verbindungsparameter zu externen Diensten wird die Bibliothek libsecret verwendet. Die OAuth1-Implementierung wurde \u00fcberarbeitet.\n<li class=\"l\"> Ein neues Panel zur Konfiguration von Plugins wurde implementiert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Navigation in Verzeichnissen mit einer sehr gro\u00dfen Anzahl von Dateien wurde beschleunigt. Das Lesen von Raw-Bildern wurde optimiert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Flickr, Google Fotos und Piwigo wurde verbessert. Das Hochladen von Fotos in Google Fotos im Batch-Modus wurde eingerichtet. Der Code zur Ver\u00f6ffentlichung auf Facebook wurde entfernt (war nicht funktionsf\u00e4hig).\n<li class=\"l\"> Eine Neuorganisation der Quelltexte wurde durchgef\u00fchrt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Der
