Die Mittel sollen f\u00fcr Folgendes verwendet werden:<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Entwicklung eines neuen Stacks von Unterst\u00fctzungstechnologien f\u00fcr Menschen mit Behinderungen;<\/li>\n<li>Verschl\u00fcsselung von Benutzerverzeichnissen;<\/li>\n<li>Aktualisierung des GNOME Keyring;<\/li>\n<li>Verbesserung der Hardwareunterst\u00fctzung;<\/li>\n<li>Investitionen in QA und Developer Experience;<\/li>\n<li>Erweiterung verschiedener APIs von freedesktop;<\/li>\n<li>Konsolidierung und Verbesserung der Komponenten der GNOME-Plattform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Die Stiftung l\u00e4dt interessierte Entwickler \u2013 sowohl Einzelpersonen als auch Organisationen \u2013 zur Teilnahme an diesen Projekten ein.<\/p>\n<p> <noindex><\/p>\n<p>Bislang gibt es nur wenige Informationen, aber \u00fcber die Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr den neuen Stack von Unterst\u00fctzungstechnologien f\u00fcr blinde Menschen kann man im <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.gnome.org\/a11y\/2023\/10\/27\/a-new-accessibility-architecture-for-modern-free-desktops\/\">Blog von Matt Campbell<\/a>lesen, der diese Aufgabe \u00fcbernehmen soll. Matt ist selbst blind und entwickelt seit \u00fcber 20 Jahren Software f\u00fcr Gleichgesinnte, unter anderem f\u00fcr Linux-Nutzer. Matt ist der Sch\u00f6pfer von <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/pneumasolutions.com\/systemaccess\/\">System Access<\/a> (von 2004 bis heute), hat an der Entwicklung von Narrator und UI Automation API bei Microsoft (2017-2020) teilgenommen und ist au\u00dferdem Hauptentwickler bei <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/accesskit.dev\/\">AccessKit<\/a> (seit 2021).<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<p>Der Sovereign Tech Fund wurde im Oktober 2022 gegr\u00fcndet und wird vom deutschen Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz finanziert.
