Alma Linux 8.9 ist die dritte Ver\u00f6ffentlichung nach Red Hat Enterprise Linux. <\/p>\n

Die Distribution ist bemerkenswert, weil sie sich entschieden hat, vom 1:1-Klonen abzukehren, nachdem Red Hat ein Verbot f\u00fcr die Redistributierung eingef\u00fchrt hat und nicht in die OpenELA-Vereinigung eintreten wollte. In der Distribution gibt es ein Repository, das Pakete enth\u00e4lt, die sich von Red Hat Enterprise Linux unterscheiden \u2013 Synergy. Und eines der Highlights des Repositories ist die Pantheon-Umgebung von ElementaryOS.<\/p>\n

Die letzte Distribution von Enterprise Linux 8.9, die dieses Mal ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde, ist Oracle Linux. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass Oracle an der Weiterentwicklung seines Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel R7 arbeitet, in dem die Funktionen neuer Kerne schneller verf\u00fcgbar sind, sowie an der Entwicklung von Anwendungsprodukten f\u00fcr Oracle Linux, wie VirtualBox, gleichzeitig auch f\u00fcr RHEL. <\/p>\n

Oracle ist Mitglied der Enterprise Linux OpenELA Herstellervereinigung. Die Distribution ist vollst\u00e4ndig bin\u00e4r kompatibel mit RHEL 9.3 und \u00fcbernimmt diese Kompatibilit\u00e4tsposition auch in Zukunft. Bemerkenswert ist, dass Oracle die l\u00e4ngste Erfahrung unter den RHEL-\u00e4hnlichen Anbietern hat - etwa 17 Jahre. <\/p>\n
