Comentario erm\u00f6glicht eine schnelle Integration der Kommentarfunktion auf der eigenen Website oder im Blog, indem die JavaScript-Datei comentario.js, die etwa 20 KB gro\u00df ist, auf die Seite geladen wird. Die Software unterst\u00fctzt eine baumartige Organisation von Diskussionen, die Verwendung des Markdown-Formats, Authentifizierung \u00fcber soziale Netzwerke, Festlegung von Moderationsregeln, Anbindung externer Dienste zur Sperrung von Verst\u00f6\u00dfen und die Verwaltung \u00fcber ein Administrationsinterface. Der Server-Code des Projekts ist in der Programmiersprache Go geschrieben, w\u00e4hrend der Client in JavaScript unter Verwendung des Angular-Frameworks entwickelt wurde. Die Ergebnisse des Projekts werden unter der MIT-Lizenz ver\u00f6ffentlicht.
