Die neue Version hat den Status einer Alpha-Version und wurde f\u00fcr die Architektur i386 vorbereitet. Die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Boot-Images betr\u00e4gt - 665 MB (zum Vergleich, die vorherige Version hatte eine Gr\u00f6\u00dfe von 50 MB).      <\/p>\n<p>Das Build basiert auf der Live-Distribution AntiX 23, die ihrerseits auf der Debian-Paketbasis aufbaut. Ziel der Wiederbelebung von Damn Small Linux war der Wunsch, eine kompakte Live-Distribution f\u00fcr veraltete Systeme zu schaffen, die auf einer CD (unter 700 MB) Platz findet und sowohl eine brauchbare grafische als auch eine Konsolenumgebung bietet. Zur Auswahl stehen Umgebungen basierend auf den Fenstermanagern Fluxbox und JWM. Enthalten sind drei Webbrowser: BadWolf, Dillo und Links2.     <\/p>\n<p>Das B\u00fcroanwendungspaket besteht aus dem Textverarbeitungsprogramm AbiWord, dem Tabellenkalkulationsprogramm Gnumeric, dem E-Mail-Client Sylpheed und dem PDF-Viewer Zathura. F\u00fcr multimediale Inhalte sind MPV und XMMS enthalten. Im Distribution sind auch der Grafikeditor mtPaint, der Dateimanager zzzFM, der FTP\/SFTP-Client gFTP und der Texteditor Leafpad vorhanden.     <\/p>\n<p>Unter den Konsolenanwendungen: Dateimanager
