Ab Firefox 127 m\u00fcssen alle Add-ons, die vor April 2019 erstellt wurden, mit einem neuen Zertifikat neu signiert werden (das bis 2019 verwendete Zertifikat nutzte Algorithmen, die mittlerweile nicht mehr als sicher genug gelten):\n<ul>\n<li>Wenn das Add-on nach April 2019 erstellt wurde, ist es bereits mit einem vertrauensw\u00fcrdigen Zertifikat signiert und es sind keine weiteren Schritte notwendig. <\/li>\n<li>Add-ons, die im offiziellen Katalog angeboten werden, werden automatisch neu signiert, sodass auch hier nichts unternommen werden muss. <\/li>\n<li>Wenn das Add-on nach April 2019 erstellt wurde und im offiziellen Add-on-Katalog nicht vorhanden ist (zum Beispiel \u00fcber die eigene Website verbreitet wird), muss der Autor das Add-on selbst neu signieren. <\/li>\n<li>Bereits installierte Add-ons werden in jedem Fall weiterhin funktionieren, selbst wenn sie nicht neu signiert wurden, aber es wird unm\u00f6glich sein, ein solches Add-on von Grund auf neu zu installieren. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Suchanfragen von Nutzern aus den USA <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/en\/products\/firefox\/firefox-search-update\/\">werden analysiert<\/a>. Wenn ein Nutzer nach \u201eHotels in Barcelona\u201c sucht, erh\u00f6ht der Browser den Z\u00e4hler f\u00fcr \u201eReisen\u201c um eins (insgesamt erkennt der Browser 20 verschiedene Themen: Tiere, Kunst, Autos, Gesch\u00e4ft, Karriere, Bildung, Mode, Finanzen, Essen, Regierung, Gesundheit, Hobbys, Zuhause, unentschlossen, Nachrichten, Immobilien, Gesellschaft, Sport, Technik, Reisen). Die gesammelten Daten werden \u00fcber Telemetrie gesendet.
