Die neuen Ausgaben der Handb\u00fccher Linux From Scratch 12.2 (LFS) und Beyond Linux From Scratch 12.2 (BLFS) sind jetzt in zwei Varianten verf\u00fcgbar, mit den Init-Systemen SysVinit und systemd. Linux From Scratch bietet Anleitungen zum Erstellen eines grundlegenden Linux-Systems von Grund auf, nur unter Verwendung des Quellcodes der erforderlichen Software. Beyond Linux From Scratch erg\u00e4nzt die LFS-Anleitungen um Informationen zur Erstellung und Konfiguration von \u00fcber 1000 Softwarepaketen, die verschiedene Anwendungsbereiche abdecken, von Datenbanken \u00fcber Virtualisierungssysteme bis hin zu einer erweiterten Sammlung von Entwickleranwendungen und grafischen Oberfl\u00e4chen. <\/p>\n

In Linux From Scratch 12.2 wurden 45 Pakete aktualisiert und ein neues Paket lz4 hinzugef\u00fcgt, darunter Aktualisierungen von Glibc 2.40, Linux-Kernel 6.10.5, binutils-2.43.1, gcc-14.2.0, systemd-256.4, SysVinit-3.10 und anderen. <\/p>\n

Gleichzeitig wurde die \u00dcbersetzung der Handb\u00fccher Linux From Scratch 12.2-SysV und Linux From Scratch 12.2-systemd ins Russische ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Aufgrund gelegentlicher Probleme beim Herunterladen bestimmter Pakete wurden die Quellcodes der ben\u00f6tigten Pakete im Repository bereitgestellt (wget-list, md5sums liegen bei). <\/p>\n

In Beyond LFS wurden \u00fcber 1750 Updates vorgenommen, darunter zahlreiche Text\u00e4nderungen zur Verbesserung der Lesbarkeit. Zu den wichtigsten \u00c4nderungen geh\u00f6rt das Update von KDE5 (Frameworks, Gear, Plasma) auf KDE6. GNOME wurde auf Version 46 aktualisiert, KDE Plasma auf 6.1.4, LXQt auf Version 2.0.0. Es wurden mehrere neue Pakete hinzugef\u00fcgt: FreeRDP, vinagre wurde durch gnome-connections ersetzt, und au\u00dferdem wurden dolphin und konversation aus KDE hinzugef\u00fcgt. Insgesamt wurden 32 Pakete zur Unterst\u00fctzung der bereits im Buch enthaltenen Pakete hinzugef\u00fcgt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurden 21 nicht unterst\u00fctzte Pakete entfernt, darunter Python2 und GTK2. Es wurde angek\u00fcndigt, dass in zuk\u00fcnftigen Versionen von BLFS Qt5 entfernt wird.
