Das Programm ratarmount (random access tar mount) dient zum Einbinden von Archivdateien in das Dateisystem und erm\u00f6glicht es, \u00fcber FUSE nicht nur tar-Dateien (komprimiert mit bz2, gz, xz oder zstd) zu mounten, sondern auch zip- und rar-Dateien. Die neue Version 1.0.0 ist \u00fcber pip und AppImage verf\u00fcgbar.<\/p>\n

Es gibt mehrere Besonderheiten, die ratarmount von dem bestehenden archivemount unterscheiden. Zun\u00e4chst einmal ist der Zugriff auf die eingebundenen Dateien tats\u00e4chlich schnell, unabh\u00e4ngig von der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Archivs. Zum Beispiel sprechen wir bei Archiven mit einer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe von 100 GB von Millisekunden Verz\u00f6gerung mit ratarmount im Vergleich zu Stunden Verz\u00f6gerung mit archivemount. Dar\u00fcber hinaus verf\u00fcgt ratarmount \u00fcber einen parallelisierten bz2- und xz-Dekoder und bietet erweiterte Funktionen wie das Erstellen einer Indexdatei f\u00fcr schnellen sp\u00e4teren Zugriff, kombinierte Einbindungen, geb\u00fcndelte Einbindungen und sogar beliebig tiefes rekursives Einbinden.<\/p>\n
