Das Programm ratarmount (random access tar mount) dient zum Einh\u00e4ngen von Archivdateien in das Dateisystem und erm\u00f6glicht das Einh\u00e4ngen von TAR-Dateien (komprimiert mit bz2, gz, xz oder zstd) \u00fcber FUSE sowie von zip- und rar-Dateien. Die neue Version 1.0.0 ist \u00fcber pip und AppImage verf\u00fcgbar.<\/p>\n

Es gibt einige Besonderheiten, die ratarmount von dem bestehenden archivemount unterscheiden. Zun\u00e4chst einmal ist der Zugriff auf die eingeh\u00e4ngten Dateien tats\u00e4chlich schnell, unabh\u00e4ngig von der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Archivs. Bei Archiven mit einer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe von 100 GB sprechen wir von Millisekunden Verz\u00f6gerung mit ratarmount im Vergleich zu Stunden Verz\u00f6gerung mit archivemount. Dar\u00fcber hinaus verf\u00fcgt ratarmount \u00fcber einen parallelen bz2- und xz-Dekoder und bietet erweiterte Funktionen wie die Erstellung einer Indexdatei f\u00fcr schnellen nachfolgenden Zugriff, kombinierte Montage, verbundene Montage und sogar beliebig tiefes rekursives Einh\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n
