In den Versionen 3.2.4, 3.3.3 und 3.4.1 wurde eine Schwachstelle (CVE-2024-12797) behoben, die als hochgef\u00e4hrlich eingestuft wurde. Diese Schwachstelle erm\u00f6glicht eine MITM-Attacke auf TLS- und DTLS-Verbindungen. Das Problem tritt nur in Systemen auf, die zur Client-Authentifizierung RPK (Raw Public Key, RFC 7250) verwenden. Standardm\u00e4\u00dfig ist die Unterst\u00fctzung von RPK auf der Clientseite deaktiviert und <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/de\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"Server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3880\">Server<\/a>.     <\/p>\n<p>Die Schwachstelle entsteht, weil OpenSSL dem Client bei der Verbindung im SSL_VERIFY_PEER-Modus keine Informationen \u00fcber den Authentifizierungsfehler des Servers zur\u00fcckgibt, da der Aushandlungsprozess nicht ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00df beendet wird. Ein Angreifer k\u00f6nnte eine MITM-Attacke durchf\u00fchren und den Verkehr auf seinen Host umleiten, wodurch der Client nicht erf\u00e4hrt, dass <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/de\/server\/\"   title=\"der Server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">der Server<\/a> er nicht authentifiziert ist. Das Problem tritt ab der Version OpenSSL 3.2 auf, in der die Verwendung von RPK anstelle von X.509-Zertifikaten erm\u00f6glicht wurde.    <\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich wurde in den Updates von OpenSSL die Schwachstelle CVE-2024-13176 behoben, die einen Seitenkanalangriff zur Rekonstruktion des ECDSA-privaten Schl\u00fcssels durch Verz\u00f6gerungsanalyse beim Erzeugen der digitalen Signatur erm\u00f6glicht. Die Schwachstelle besteht darin, dass f\u00fcr bestimmte Arten elliptischer Kurven, wie NIST P-521, Berechnungen mit nullen f\u00fchrenden Bits des invertierten Wertes des Initialisierungsvektors (Nonce) herausgefiltert werden k\u00f6nnen, deren Bearbeitungszeit um 300 Nanosekunden variiert.   <\/p>\n<p>Im Fall von ECDSA reicht es aus, nur einige Bits mit Informationen \u00fcber den Initialisierungsvektor zu bestimmen, um einen sequentiellen Angriff zur vollst\u00e4ndigen Rekonstruktion des privaten Schl\u00fcssels durchzuf\u00fchren. F\u00fcr einen erfolgreichen Angriff muss der Angreifer Zugang zu dem lokalen System haben, auf dem die Anwendung zur Erstellung digitaler Signaturen l\u00e4uft, oder eine Hochgeschwindigkeitsnetzwerkverbindung zur Anwendung mit sehr geringen Latenzen. Der Angreifer muss auch in der Lage sein, die Erzeite der Erstellung einer gro\u00dfen Anzahl digitaler Signaturen, die \u00fcber ihm bekannte Daten erstellt wurden, mit hoher Genauigkeit zu
