Die Distribution basiert auf der Debian-Paketbasis und ist f\u00fcr mehr als 50 Platinen verf\u00fcgbar. DietPi kann auch f\u00fcr die Erstellung kompakter Umgebungen f\u00fcr virtuelle Maschinen und normale PCs auf Basis der x86_64-Architektur verwendet werden. Die Builds f\u00fcr die Platinen sind im Vergleich zu Raspberry Pi OS und Armbian von geringem Umfang (im Durchschnitt 130 MB). Das Toolset zur Erstellung und Pflege der Distribution wird unter der GPLv2-Lizenz ver\u00f6ffentlicht.    <\/p>\n<p>Das Projekt ist auf minimalen Ressourcenverbrauch optimiert und entwickelt mehrere eigene Tools: die Schnittstelle zur Installation von Anwendungen DietPi-Software, den Konfigurator DietPi-Config, das Backup-System DietPi-Backup, das tempor\u00e4re Log-System DietPi-Ramlog (auch rsyslog wird unterst\u00fctzt), die Schnittstelle zur Festlegung der Prozessausf\u00fchrungspriorit\u00e4ten DietPi-Services und das Aktualisierungssystem DietPi-Update. Die Tools bieten eine benutzerfreundliche Konsole mit Men\u00fcs und Dialogen, die auf whiptail basieren. Der Modus der vollst\u00e4ndigen Automatisierung der Installation wird unterst\u00fctzt, wodurch eine Installation auf Platinen ohne Benutzereingriff m\u00f6glich ist.     <\/p>\n<p>Unter den \u00c4nderungen:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Im DietPi-Software-Interface wurde das Paket Fish hinzugef\u00fcgt, das jetzt als alternative Kommandozeile verwendet werden kann.\n<li class=\"l\"> In den DietPi-Skripten wird anstelle des Editors nano der Aufruf des Editors sensible-editor f\u00fcr das \u00d6ffnen von Textdateien verwendet, der die Funktionalit\u00e4t von update-alternatives nutzt, um einen Editor nach Wunsch auszuw\u00e4hlen (zum Beispiel kann vim gew\u00e4hlt werden).\n<li class=\"l\"> In DietPi-Backup wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr das Speichern von Backups auf einem externen Host \u00fcber SSHFS hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Amiberry (Amiga-Emulator) wurde auf Version 7 aktualisiert.
