Die Installationsbilder wurden f\u00fcr die Architekturen x86_64_v3, x86_64_v2, ARM64, ppc64le und s390x in Form eines Boot-Images (864 MB), eines Minimal-Images (1,4 GB) und eines Voll-Images (7,3 GB) vorbereitet. Sp\u00e4ter werden Live-Bauten mit GNOME, KDE, MATE und Xfce sowie Images f\u00fcr Raspberry Pi-Platten, Container, WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) und Cloud-Plattformen erstellt.    <\/p>\n<p>Die Distribution ist nach M\u00f6glichkeit bin\u00e4r kompatibel mit Red Hat Enterprise Linux und kann als Ersatz f\u00fcr RHEL 10 und CentOS 10 Stream verwendet werden. Neben dem Rebranding und dem Entfernen von RHEL-spezifischen Paketen weist AlmaLinux 10.0 folgende Unterschiede zu RHEL 10 auf:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Es wurden separate Builds f\u00fcr die zweite Version der x86-64-Mikroarchitektur (x86-64-v2) erstellt, die parallel zu den Basis-Bauten von x86-64 mit Optimierungen f\u00fcr die x86-64-v3-Mikroarchitektur, die in RHEL 10 verwendet wird, bereitgestellt werden. Die zus\u00e4tzliche Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr x86-64-v2 sorgt daf\u00fcr, dass die Kompatibilit\u00e4t mit CPUs \u00e4lter als Intel Haswell und AMD Excavator, die vor 2013 entwickelt wurden, gew\u00e4hrleistet ist. Neben den regul\u00e4ren Repositories wurden die Builds von x86-64-v2 auch f\u00fcr Pakete aus dem EPEL-Repository vorbereitet.    <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Verwendung des Prozessorregisters %rbp als Basiszeiger auf den Stackrahmen, der R\u00fcckgabearadressen und Variablen der Funktion enth\u00e4lt (Frame Pointer), wurde wiederhergestellt. Die Verwendung des Frame-Pointers erm\u00f6glicht zus\u00e4tzliche Funktionen f\u00fcr das Tracing und Profilerstellung des Systems im Distribution.      <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Server- und Clientimplementierungen des SPICE-Protokolls wurden zur\u00fcckgebracht, das die Fernarbeit mit einem Desktop erm\u00f6glicht, der in einer virtuellen Umgebung unter QEMU\/KVM l\u00e4uft. Im Gegensatz zu den Protokollen VNC und RDP erfolgt bei SPICE die Anzeige des Bildschirminhalts und die Verarbeitung von Audiostreams auf der Clientseite, nicht auf <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/de\/server\/dts-newyork\/\"   title=\"Server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2810\">Server<\/a>. In RHEL wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung von SPICE mit der Version 9.0 eingestellt.      <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Die M\u00f6glichkeit zur Verwendung eines Hypervisors wurde implementiert <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/de\/vps\/abuzoustojchivye-vps\/\"   title=\"KVM\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4443\">KVM<\/a> auf Systemen mit IBM POWER-Prozessoren. In RHEL wurde eine solche Unterst\u00fctzung in Branch 9.0 eingestellt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die M\u00f6glichkeit zur Boot-Load im UEFI Secure Boot-Modus f\u00fcr Systeme mit Intel\/AMD- und ARM-Prozessoren wurde implementiert.   <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr mehr als 150 Hardwareger\u00e4te, die in RHEL 10 nicht unterst\u00fctzt werden, wurde wieder aufgenommen. Das Projekt wird von einer separaten Non-Profit-Organisation, der AlmaLinux OS Foundation, betreut, die gegr\u00fcndet wurde, um in einer neutralen Umgebung mit Beteiligung der Gemeinschaft zu entwickeln und ein Managementmodell \u00e4hnlich dem des Fedora-Projekts zu verwenden.
